Tank Cleaning Solutions – using dewatering pumps from Khansaheb Sykes

When a key customer situated on Saadiyat Island in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi contacted Khansaheb Sykes to devise a dewatering solution for the removal of ‘Dirty Water’ from a vast holding tank, we were only too pleased to assist them.

The customer required a large holding tank to be emptied on a daily basis in to a mobile fleet of water tankers, however, they had no easy solution at their disposal to pump this liquid.

To solve this problem, Khansaheb Sykes used 4 x 6” model GP150M Electric Driven dewatering pumps (3 duty & 1 essential standby) to extract the dirty water quickly and efficiently out of the holding tank – pumping directly into the waiting tankers.
Using this solution, the client has a capacity to fill 70 tankers per day – optimizing their fleet.

With more focus on protection of the environmental, the electric powered pumps from Khansaheb Sykes also eliminated any risk of fuel spillages, and minimized sound and exhaust emissions on site.
