Infrastructural solutions company turns to us for dewatering assistance

It’s been a very positive start to the year for Khansaheb Sykes, as we joined forces with Al Ansari to undertake the dewatering required for the construction of foundation work ahead of a new processing application being built in Oman.

Our client was uncertain of the best way to approach a potentially complex project, so our engineers went down to have a look.

This assessment allowed us to propose a solution that would overcome some challenging ground conditions, with a significant pump rental agreed.

Thanks to the experience of our team – accumulated over many years – we understood the best approach for dealing with the situation.

In addition to the deployment of 10 WP150/60 wellpoint dewatering pumps, we have also assigned a full-time supervisor who will oversee our involvement and ensure that everything runs smoothly from an operational perspective.

As an aside, this job represents a breakthrough moment for Khansaheb Sykes as it is the first time we have undertaken a project in Oman since Covid-19 restrictions were imposed.

The gradual return to normal business has allowed us to recommence working with a longstanding customer, and the early signs certainly suggest that 2022 could be a fantastic year for both parties!
