WellPoint Dewatering Drilling Machine Sole Working

Khansaheb Sykes the UAE’s longest and most established Dewatering Solutions provider and Ground Water Control Specialist was recently awarded a dewatering project in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi which consists of a WellPoint Dewatering project covering a distance of approximately 15km.

As a result to our success on a similar project with the same Client then awarding of the project to us was straight forward.

Due to the eagerness to commence dewatering activities, a standalone drilling machine has been mobilized to site to commence drilling works before complete mobilization of the dewatering pumps and their associated accessories. read more

Khansaheb Sykes provides Emergency over-pumping for Sewage Network

Khansaheb Sykes was contacted by a site main contractor to provide emergency over-pumping so that vital maintenance of a sewage network could commence.

Our emergency response was to mobilise 2 of our Sykes 12” diesel dewatering pumps along with bunded fuel tanks and all associated accessories.

The Pentair 12” diesel dewatering pump has the capability of, maximum duty flow of 1450 cubic meters per hour & maximum duty head of 45m. This emergency over-pumping solution worked perfectly, with the contractor being able to carry out their maintenance works fault free – underling our ability as a pump hire specialist and being able to respond to any emergency. read more

Dewatering Pumps for Infrastructure Works, Abu Dhabi

Khansaheb Sykes deliver dewatering pumps in Abu Dhabi for Wellpoint Dewatering to allow infrastructure works to be excavated for a new city development.

Khanshaheb Sykes scope of work at the project was only to deliver dewatering pumps, as the main contractor was using a trenching machine as the dewatering solution at the project. Khansaheb Sykes to date have supplied in excess of 100 dewatering pumps to the project.

Deep Well Dewatering for Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion

Deep Well Dewatering activities so that excavation can commence for the installation of pipes for a newly expanded Sewage Treatment Plant. Great job by all involved within the project due to the Ground conditions at the project site meant that a deep well dewatering design followed by the installation of a French Drain system below the final excavation was the only dewatering solution available.

Khansaheb Sykes Design Team and operational staff worked extremely hard to install and maintain this bespoke dewatering solution to ensure we maintained a dry site at the project. read more

Outfall pipes, Abu Dhabi: Wellpoint Dewatering Project

Khansaheb Sykes recently installed a wellpoint dewatering system so that excavation could commence for the installation of Sea Outfall Pipes at a project located in Abu Dhabi.

The wellpoint dewatering system design utilizes a series of wellpoints installed along the excavation of the construction offering a non-intrusive dewatering solution.

Khansaheb Sykes installed a ring system of wellpoints connected to the header main utilizing their WP150/60 dewatering pumps.
